Who doesn't want more sensors in prime kiting and windsurfing locations? The problem is that we (iWindsurf.com) have to justify the cost of installing sensors. A problem for Ontario is that the cost is substantially higher than on the state side. This is basically because of communications costs. So, we have the Install-A-Sensor program.

So, if you're one of those people who haven't joined as an FX member because your site doesn't have a sensor you can sign up for join as and FX member ONLY IF the sensor gets installed. We have this program in place for several Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, and Lake Huron sites. Check out these links:

I should add that we aren't just looking for new sensors in Ontario. If you're a Great Lakes wind lover ... NY, PA, OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, or even MN ... let us know where you think we really need a sensor! You can also email me directly by using the "pm" button.

There's a group of sailors in SE MI that would appreciate wind sensors at:
Metro Beach
Blue Lagoon,
Marysville,
Lexington
Caseville

I completely agree. The Chicago area needs sensors near shore.
