I'm not hard to find. You don't see many hot pink and chartreuse sails north of San Francisco.

got to test in Hatteras April -May .. strong winds:
the photo is of the fins that worked best, the 1st set and 2nd with 1-2 or 1-3 were all really good, large front 5.25" or 4.75" then smaller rear, the red set not so good.
tried as a tri fin with 4.25" & 16.5cm center , worked good
tried a 5 fin bonzer with 2 different centers, 10cm & 11.5cm , it don't work, maybe a larger center.. but have given up on this arrangement.

Wow! I didn't realize the side fins were pitched out like the OO's. So your saying the 2 thrusters per side is too much?

only the 5 fin setup has cant on the fins. didn't work, but may have with a larger center fin, was really bad ...not worth considering further tests

Have you tried it as a tri-fin with canted thrusters like the OO setup?
And on another note didn't you say something about heading west this summer? Will we see you at Sherman Island?

no on the tri fin cant like OO, but do have the ability to do cant 4 6 or 8 degrees with the ProBox.
did a tri fin , it was ok, but liked the quad better on this board, had a lot to test during this period, and still have quite a few to try, but can eliminate some now I know what to expect.
I have no set plans but want to go to Rio Vista , mid or late June. took 6 boards to OBX, not sure which I will take to Rio, probably the AmiGu 4 sure.
had an entire set to try on my RRD wave twin, and Makani were in town so tried theirs as well, plus a demo day on the Tabou Da Curve Quad 85L,
busy when the wind was up.

Is your RRD wave twin the Freestyle Wave with twin fin setup? As I understand it there were a limited number of the twin fin ones made... Or something alltogether different...like a dedicated wave board?

the RRD is a 74L Wave Twin, not the FSW with 2 fins, its a dedicated wave,
really loose and lots of fun.
