Obama sidesteps the required Senate confirmation process to appoint Craig
Becker to the NLRB, knowing Becker argued in the Harvard Law Review that it is the federal government's right to tell a corporation where it can or cannot locate its facilities based on union vs right-to-work laws. Becker may now be the deciding vote on whether the feds "let" Boeing build airplanes in SC. Is there even one lefty here willing to admit he doesn't consider this attempt by the federal government to dictate where Boeing builds airplanes a national outrage? |

My understanding is that this border fence was to be a combination of double fence, pedestrian and vehicular fencing. The locations and type of fencing to be determined by DHS and the Border Patrol.
I also understand that over 600 miles are completed. At least that's what the Border Patrol sign said at a check point on the highway on my trip back from Padre Island. Maybe Obama read that sign!
This 5% completion (of double fencing) argument looks like a cut and paste job to me. |

The border fence is not one continuous structure and is actually a grouping of short physical walls that stop and start, secured in between with "virtual fence" which includes a system of sensors and cameras monitored by Border Patrol Agents. Perhaps Mr. Fick could drive his van through it.
One can only hope.

Why would anyone listen to talk radio and Fox News for information?
The results leaked here from those sites is embarrassing, to say the least. Why would anyone depend on such goofy sources for news?
It baffles me. |
