More racism charges.....except the Name Iran means Arian in German. Checnyans are 93% muslin and are white, as are muslims in Russia and eastern europe. Ther are many blond haired blue/green eyed Iranians, Turks, Egyptians, and Iraqis. Grow up and learn more about world history.
Islam is not a religion, it's hatred. Read the Koran. Go ahead, take your wife to Tehran in a short skirt. |

stevenbard screeches: "More racism charges....." Maybe you don't understand the difference between racism and bigotry. You are, without a doubt, a bigot. Look it up. |

JUST IN!
NEW YORK (KABC) -- A CBS News reporter recovered in a U.S. hospital on Tuesday after suffering a sexual attack and beating while in Cairo.
Authorities said Lara Logan was in Tahrir Square after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down on Friday. CBS said she and her team "were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the Celebration," and a mob of more than 200 people were "whipped into a frezy."
Logan was separated from her crew and was brutally attacked and beaten. She was saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers, the network said.
The attack on Logan, CBS News' chief foreign affairs correspondent, is one of at least 140 others suffered by reporters covering the unrest in Egypt since Jan. 30, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. An Egyptian reporter died from gunshot wounds he received during the protests.

A week before Friday's attack, Logan was detained by the Egyptian military for a day, along with two CBS cameramen. They returned to the U.S. after their release, and Logan went back to Cairo shortly before Mubarak left.
Logan joined CBS News in 2002. She regularly reports for the "CBS Evening News" as well as "60 Minutes," where she has been a correspondent since 2006. She has reported widely from Iraq and Afghanistan, and other global trouble |

Steven, about seventy years ago Christians were murdering millions of Jews, Moslems, homosexuals, Romanians, mentally ill and those suffering from poor brain development.
Currently, some Christians encourage the execution of homosexuals. The Ugandan legislature is actually considering making homosexuality a capital punishment. Uganda's population is two-thirds Christian.
Other Christians support the murder of abortion providers. Regardless of one's normative view on abortion, killing that is unjustified by the state is murder. Thou shalt not murder. I'm sure you are familiar.
As a Christian, I'm embarrassed about how the name of God is employed in the name of exercising power and control over ideas and other people. That's true blasphemy IMHO, not uttering an oath in passing as many people are taught.
Jesus spoke primarily about treating other people with respect and honoring God by doing so. He didn't talk about homosexuality at all. What he did is hang around with those whom society discarded and hated, heal the sick and feed the poor. Prostitutes, tax collectors and lepers as well as the multitudes. The redemptive quality of Christ is not derived in finding difference in people but recognizing that we all are different and within theses differences recognizing our humanity. Christians believe that finding that very humanity in ourselves, with all its foibles and failures, demands the unique redemption of God's grace through Jesus. At least that's how I understand it. Perhaps you would agree?
Claiming that only Islam promotes deadly violence and that only Moslems advocate killing the apostate is wrongheaded and factually incorrect. You might also agree with this, but your post states otherwise. |

First of all Hitler was no Christian, but was a socialist. Second of all his followers were not Christian.
Have people who call themselves Christians sinned? Yes. Do we all have free will? Yes. Did ancient Christians sin? Yes.
When the earthquake hit Haiti did Christians celebrate in the street, or were they the 1st to be there to help? Who fought slavery? Christians. Was mother Terresa a muslim? No.
Who raped the cbs correspondent? Muslims? Muslims who want Jeffersonian Democracy? No. Do Christian mobs rape news correspondents? Do they even mob?
Who celebrated by the millions when the Trade Center came down? Muslims. Like I said, would you take your wife to any major muslim city? How about Rome?
BTW Hitler worked closely with the Muslims (Aryans) in Iran to murder Jews. As a matter of fact, Saddam's uncle was a german officer, believe it or not...... from the history channel:
Few people realize that the Baath party was actually formed upon the principles and organizational structure of the Nazi party. Iraq, because of its oil and hatred of Jews, was an important battleground between the Axis and Allied powers in World War II.Nazi propaganda was broadcast throughout Baghdad, and Iraqis often went on rampages against Jews throughout the war. One of the most ardent Nazi supporters during WWII was named Khairallah Talfah. Talfah was Saddam's uncle. After the war, many of the keyIraqi Nazi supporters, all of whom evaded prosecution, wound up involved in Saddam's rise to power. This special examines the key individuals of the Iraqi-Nazi connection, the little-known battle for Iraq in WWII, and the strange link to Saddam Hussein. |

National Socialism is a form of socialism in its name only. Nazism certainly competed with Christianity for its place as an ideological framework. However, Christian religious culture conveniently paved the way for the acceptance of totalitarianism.
You need to turn off Beck and read a bit more, Bard. _________________ florian - ny22
