WPM. What did Brian do for bottom shape on your board? Facets? It looks like a V or double concave or both?? _________________ The Time a Person Spends Windsurfing is not Deducted from their Lifespan...

Yes, I asked Brian to design facets into this board.... something I've grown accustom to over the years. Brian also designed the usual double concave with a little more vee in the stern of the board, that's why it does better in chop than my other boards. All around, this board performs much better then any other 8.2 OO board I own.... a really sweet ride. |

Of course, one of the very guys in these photos forgot to install his fin screw one day, and his fin simply fell off right where these shots were made, a kilometer offshore in side-side-off winds ... fortunately in midsummer. The same guy destroyed a knee there, another totally separated a shoulder which locked his humerus sticking straight out to one side, another split his sternum in two, one thought his leg was broken and kept sailing on one leg, and, as we know, one was found by the Sheriff's office the next day.
But they're having fun, and isn't that all that counts? Besides, I'd be right out there with them if my hands could tolerate it and cold water didn't eliminate my balance, so I'm more envious than critical of them. They're probably safer doing this than they are driving there on Highway 14. Now THERE are some horror stories ... Thanks for replying iso and you wern't even trying to be funny!LOL C ya on the water(i just like saying that.)paul from Wilsonville
