And it's not supposed to stop 'til Monday ... 8 days from now ... except for a much-needed breather on Friday. Git it while it's good, 'cause the Corps pulls the drain plug in a couple of weeks to change the locks.
Bub-Bye.
Oh, Arlington ... where else?

Mike -
OK, how was it?!?!? Let's hear your daily report! Looked like a few solid hours with a civilized lunch break....

Sunday was 7 hours @ 5.2 (most guys on 4.2s much of the time)
Mon was 4 hrs of 5.2 (lots of 4.2s, some 3.7s)
Tue was 6 hrs of wild 3.2 with much stronger (averaging 40) at times.
You know ... the usual spring/fall out-east stuff.
The special part was the weather: scattered clouds to total sunshine with temps in the low 60s until dark. Too hot for anything beyond a good wetsuit. Finally pulled a blanket up to my chin sometime in the middle of the night, and "had to" sail alone before anyone else arrived in the morning.
Today (Wed) will be a letdown at merely 15-25 w/gusts to 35 (IF it mixes down from the highlands by mid-PM) and temps peaking near 60.
But where was all this in Sept and Oct?

Sounds like fun. I must have picked a great time to come down with my first fall cold/flu/whatever....

Bad timing, but that's OK; it will be this warm and windy again ... by May.

Mike -
Thanks... That was clearly a one percentile day... That'll teach me to not watch the weather better.
Glad you had fun. See you when it warms up!
