Hey, we would love to schedule one, but it will likely be short notice and disorganized. Were all real busy with work and travel and things, at least the group that has tried to put em on. We will try, there has been little talk about it unfortunately. How about a cape cod event?

We should do a Cape Cod wave challenge. How about the weekend after Columbus day weekend? Keep it simple one day event. Beach location depends on wind and wave conditions. We just need a few volunteer judges. SailingJoe you seem to know everything about windsurfing. Want to be a judge?

The reason i asked was because if we want waves in a W, WNW, we have to leave the cape.
I have neva sailed Matunik (maybe can't even spell it right)
So we can run the event in SW, SSW, S, SSE, SE.
NE, NNE, N, NNW, NW
East wind is best spent in a bar. Nahant now on my radar
West wind Horseneck, Matunik?
I hear ya on the work.....that's why the Bill and all get props for the Hatteras Wave Jam......it is hard to do right, and they did

W=Hardings I know! But it is the Cape Cod Wave Challenge!!! E=Sandy Neck. Lets face it best winds would be S or N at Nauset Beach. Keep it simple riders vote who ever gets the most 2nd place votes wins. (We all will vote for our selves for first so the most second place votes determines) (No Outcast you can not vote a second place for yourself).
Keep it simple if it ends up side on rather than side or side off so be it. Better luck next year. So are we doing this? I will donate trophies and a few prizes.

I agree with JE if it is a Cape Cod wave event we stay on Cape.
Due east is really the only poor wave direction.
What is the date? 10/16-17?
I vote for Sailing Joe as a judge.
We could do the judging like they do the wave classic series Reunion and Essosoouria.
Divide teams what ever makes sense for number of entries
Run 30 minute heats and team off judges team on.
Just slightly more formal than a free for all.

If it’s truly a wave event, I’ll volunteer to keep an eye on the judge.
