Maui's favorite musician, Willie K. ,will be performing at the John Anson Ford Theater Friday night, October 8th at 8:00 PM. If you've been to Maui and haven't experienced a Willie K. show, you ain't been to Maui, brah! Willie lays his audience away with everything from traditional Hawaiian songs to blazing flamenco guitar riffs to Italian opera to the Israeli national anthem... in Hebrew!!! Oh, did I mention Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn or Cab Calloway? He will be playing mainly his Hawaiian repetoire as he is accompanied by a primo hula troupe. The Ford Theater is across the Hollywood Freeway from the Hollywood Bowl and since it seats only 1245, it is the best outdoor theater for live music.
