Because I want to maximize the choices available for the mid-Atlantic
windsurfer and because the mid-Atlantic windsurfer deserves more
options, I decided to put together WindsurfResource.com.

independent and unbiased information for the mid-Atlantic windsurfer.

Most importantly, WindsurfResource.com provides a launch finder for
Coastal NJ Launches, NYC/Raritan Bay Launches, Pennsylvania Launches,
Delmarva Peninsula Launches, Chesapeake Bay Launches,
Southern Maryland Launches, Washington DC Area Launches,
mid-Virginia Launches , Tidewater Virginia Launches
and Hatteras Area Launches, where one can interact with an
interactive graphical map to find a suitable launch. Unlike other launch
compilations, WindsurfResource.com's launch compilation is up-to-date,
complete, includes land and aerial photos, driving directions, fees, hazard
info, amenities, and strategy tips for when to select one launch over
another for certain weather conditions. WindsurfResource.com uses
today’s technology (the Internet) to address the problems of today
(dwindling access). Best of all, all of this information is free, with no ads
and with no strings attached.

In addition to launch descriptions, WindsurfResource.com provides lots
of other information pertinent to the mid-Atlantic windsurfer, such as a
glossary defining windsurfing terms, a beginner's corner, and a genres page,
to give the mid-Atlantic windsurfer a good overview of the sport and an
understanding as to how each aspect of the sport fits together in the
bigger picture.
