For those who can make an after-work or vacation session, NOAA says
"Monday: Windy, with a east wind between 24 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.
Monday Night: Windy, with a east wind between 24 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph.
Tuesday: Breezy, with a east wind between 20 and 22 mph.
Not really casual bikini weather, but the water is about as warm as it gets!

and while I'm at it:
I think it was our inspiration leader who once closed his cryptic messages with something like:
“We don’t get waves like that on Cape Cod”
Last night, 44018 running at 1.9’, had me grumbling to surf Area 4 north of the Bowl with family and friend. 50?? rides plus every family member surfing with my daughter getting her summer long wish to ride a short board, my salt water adverse son screaming with delight surfing for the first time this year and first time of catching waves with a dad launch and my wife snagging a few but concentrating on boogie boarding with my SUP convert and SUP swapping partner.
Our friend, who now wants me to line her up with a drysuit, was in heaven boogie boarding without her landlubbing family around to complain about the cool & cloudy conditions. A great time for her as she is well into the chemo phase of a stage 4 breast cancer battle.
Numerical grade ≈ 9.99 (.001 off for waves about a 1’ smaller than desired)
