Formula Windsurfing, a serious business

Well, I bought a 5 year old Exocet Formula 100 from Sandy Pt. yesterday and will be picking it up once it Florida. However, right now I can't lift my arm and wonder if that is partly due to my primary use of a 9.6 this past season on Cape Cod. Whatever, I also have a logistical problem with my 11M VGM rig on the Cape and this board in Fla. The shipping costs for such large equipment remain exorbitant and will only get worse. I hired UPS to send my 8.0 N.P. rig to Fla., spent $275 and hope to be using it with the newly acquired board. However, it does look like a mismatch. I was considering buying an '07 F2 Stoke 115 which had an upper sail limit of 8.0, but opted for the Formula given the winds or rather lack of them in Fla. The board I already have there, being an old narrow tailed design, probably won't sail well with the 8.0. However, to be or not to be, that is the real question!!! Whether to suffer the slings and arrows of fortune or in opposing to end them.
