Drive over to Corp. and see what real Cape Cod conditions are like.
PS:You never answered me about lending your gear to me in FL?
I was probably sailing Corp. when you were still in elementary school. Obviously you didn't learn much there or you might not have put a question mark after a statement.

Checking the outdoor thermometer this morning it was slightly above freezing. The clouds overhead were travelling at a frightening speed from the North, too. Due to overwork and this damp cold, I have been having trouble lifting my arm for more than a week. The spate of warm weather over Halloween definitely helped and Florida will be a bane. This is an old ski lift accidental injury: a torn ligament in the shoulder which occurred back in the 80's that has been aggravated once again. No sailing for me for a while, I can now devote all my time to my computer. Wink

Great, dummy. Maybe now you will learn the definition of "bane" and employ the word "boon" at the appropriate time. And, wow. Another post about your personal life, something you claim never to be the subject of your posts.

Brucie, it's always so nice when you're civil to others.

You are, after all, the king (or is that queen?) of wrong or missing punctuation, gross misspellings, sloppy construction, improper word usage, mindless narrative, endless paragraphs, erratic capitalization, convoluted sentences, overused and incorrect transitions, and generally overall shitty writing.

And those are the good points.

Cabin Fever for my son and I has set in. Although he's not interested in too many beach related activties, even he didn't mind taking a drive.

I'm always disappointed that a snap shot, taken today, doesn't do the conditions justice. It does show how easy the parking to water access is (tide dependant like any bayside beach).

Corp. was fun! Different angle than the usual with all the North in it. Good mix of windsurfers and kiters.
No kooks all good stuff. Mr. Green
When I showed up there was a rainbow over the water. To bad Brucie was not there. I hear he loves rainbows.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'm on my way!!!! The thermometer was reading below freezing this morning and there's frost all over the grass in Falmouth. In the words of a traditional folk/rock/blues song >>Glory on me I don't need no pain. I'm going to walk up in the morning, pack my bags and beat it on down the line!!!!<<

Ron,
The bowl worked tiill 1 or 2....then the wind killed it. Damn wind!
(Could a sailed it by 2!)

I went farher north, and found glassy head plus.

I think the swell will drop overnite, but could still be fun in am
Have a blast! you deserve it!

Just me and two of our more famous wahines at the bowl, that was fun.
Marconi was all lit up with the Cape's best shortboarders

Bike riding, yardwork, child care, food shopping and sewing - all in a man's day work.

Right after lunch, my son and I checked out the surf at Nauset. There were good size rollers pounding right on shore. I did see one well worn Ford van, color brown, among other so-called surfer's cars. We could not see anyone SUPing. If there was an OUTCAST out there, your'e a bigger man than me!

We did see 2 surfers walking back from the bowl's direction. My private thoughts were WTF, did they realy go for it?? late - 50s?, male & female, not in good as shape as me (but that's no biggie) 4mil? suits w/o hoods (good to have as a backup this time of year) and she had a foam top board ( who am I to talk with a 1991 glass

I didn't say anything as some woman, who may have known WTF she was asking, with a critical tone, asked the lady if she caught anything. On the way out, I rolled down my window and tried to make friends. I congradulated the guy saying you did it - I didn't. He replied with a big smile and a confession that he and his partner Chickened Out. They didn't even get wet. I gave them credit as I didn't even contemplate by putting my suit on.

Speaking of suits, check out my handywork. Last week's solo session revealed a little pinch of cold water. I patched the small tear in a liquid seam joint by gluing a patch on both sides and then sewed on either side of the joint. I'll even take knee-high conditions tomorrow to check it out.

Please correct and edit as needed Bruce, RC
