To bad that Adobe Flashplayer is key for your publication, as Adobe no longer supports my MAC operating system. For me, it kind of makes the whole thing a "no go" right from the start. |

PWA reports
Online windsurfing develops a greener edge.
The latest online resource for windsurfers worldwide has just been launched. Windsurfer International is the brainchild of ex-PWA Media Man, Brian McDowell, who is famous for his part in the Beach Telegraph – a leading windsurfing Blog.
Windsurfer International (WI) is a free-to-read, content rich service with a strong slant on environmental issues, ideal for people who care about the ocean as well as what goes on on the surface. Supported by sponsors who are proud to be associated with a more responsible ‘paperless press’, the service also aims to attract new marketing to the sport.
Perhaps the most exciting feature of WI is that it can be easily embedded on websites, blogs, and social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This feature will greatly increase the exposure of the sport we love, and a showcase of the best action will be beamed world wide.
We let McDowell talk us through his revolutionary new site:
BMD “I really hope windsurfers will help to spread this publication far and wide so we
can help show the world how awesome our sport is. With your help, more copies of this magazine will introduce people to the sport than the ones people currently only find in their Dentist’s waiting room. Right now, there are so many excellent news focused websites for windsurfers – and now finally a place for quality extended features too.”
“I’m over the moon to step up the level of service Beach Telegraph has delivered and try to bridge the gap between digital and print formats. With WI Mag, you can read online, print off a couple of pages or save a PDF (no videos) version for the train ride home, or share it with friends on Facebook or Twitter."
“I hope you enjoy reading it on a wide range of devices wherever you go! In fact, there’s even a live news feed from The Beach Telegraph inside so you can read both features and news in one place!” |
