Regarding Redek, I found this thread and others. I have never had much luck with it on epoxy and poly boards. I'm going to try surf board wax next for my older epoxy boards. I've seen it posted that surf wax gets dirty and ruins the look of a board. However, having worked as a ski tech and know cross country waxes, I wonder why no one has ever cleaned the boards off with wax remover? |

Because surf wax accumulates to an amount so much greater than the wax remaining in the ski's base structure that one would need gallons of base cleaner to remove the same amount of wax removed mechanically. |
