Discussing youth around older men is like discussing money around drunk and bankrupt street people.

Keep your shirts on guys.

Darcy - you too will get old some day and in case you haven't noticed, men age better than women. Men become rugged, women become hags. What goes around, comes around.

This is a great thread, and JP's last comment is funny , but we are the ones that suffer from that dynamic. Age is only a number, dont think about it, it doesnt matter until you are gone.

Razz hey, i just started last year at the middle of the season and all my stuff is all 80's - 90's whats wrong with it? nothing!! it works for me and i already saved thousands in damage fees. lets see now. so far this year i went threw 2 boards, 1 - mast, 1-sail, and 2 fin boxes. old gear is good so you dont have to worry about trashing it. IN fact, if any body has old gear that they do not need you can always donate it to the donation pile at sherman or simpy post me for arrangements for pick up. I'm 43 and hooked. my goal is to go pro! so far my averave is 3-4 times a week.

stick with it! its all about the passion.

late!
