Kevin,
I'm sure Andy's clinic in Berkeley was a last minute deal, but if there are similar events in the future, a little more warning -- say, the night before -- would be great for those of us who are working stiffs and have to plan in advance to make it to Berkeley during the week.
Sorry to miss out.
Andy

yeah, more advance notice would be Nice ( Andy & Kevin!) but anyhoo, theres still one more clinic at Rio this weekend and HIGHLY recommended Andy is a phenomenal sailor and more importantly a great teacher- well worth it!

I have to say, I attended this and right away I noticed a significant improvement in my gybes and tacks.

There's been quite a response to Andy's talk the other night so we decided to add another clinic in August, the 7th-9th to be exact.
I just posted it on the site:

Thanks,

Yeah, more notice would be a good thing for sure. I didn't organize the event, and I was just passing on info. Also, I was not sure if the event was open to the general public or not as this was sponsored by the Cal Sailing Club, and Club resources were being used. Anyway, I definitely want to thank Andy for doing this and to all the people who showed up. I did a head count midway through the session, and we had 50 strong!
Topics ranged from waterstarting, catapulting, to loops and vulcans. Andy also sailed with us that day and gave us on the water pointers.
