I heard the lifeguards pulled him out of the water. Thanks to Bruce for trying to rescue him, and to Mitch and Brian for thinking to save his keys, etc from the advancing tide. |

Yes, the lifeguards, along with the local fire department, did a great job getting Cory out of the water and on his way to recovery. With a high and rising tide, the drift toward Zero's, etc., it would have been just short of impossible for Cory to have completed a self-rescue. I wish him a speedy recovery.
If Cory, or anyone who knows him, reads this, please have him contact me through iwindsurf message, as I have knowledge of where his van keys are. Hopefully, the lifeguards informed him as to their location. If not, either Mitchell or I can be contacted for further information. Cory's cart, etc. were loaded in the back of his vehicle and it was locked up.

I asked the lifeguards not to ticket his van if he left it overnight. They said they'd contact State Park. It was good we had a high tide. Plenty of sand for jet-ski entry. |
