Seems to be great so far.... FYI, it is called wind alert in the app store, and your username and password ARE case sensitive...

The iPhone app looks good. Any chance of getting one for the new Palm Pre?

There are no plans at present for the Pre. With over 30 million iphones sold and many millions of ipod touches there is a known market for the iwindsurf.com app. In addition there are over 50,000 apps available for the iphone and just a few dozen at present for the Pre so it is hard to justify the development costs.

I should have mentioned that the user customizable ALERT feature in the iwindsurf.com WIND ALERT app will not be available until some time after Apple releases the latest OS update later today. It may take several weeks or longer to get all the code written.

But even as it stands the WIND ALERT app is incredibly useful. I no longer even check the computer for wind graphs and it is a lot faster that using the WAP and my cell phone. Plus it is free.
