I tried to give it a go at lunch locally. 50 / 50 slog and in the straps, with my light wind setup - 85l F2 and 6.0. After a little more than a half hour with the tide running out, it was time to move on to more productive stuff.
To rub salt in the wound of missing yesterday, a kiter out did me today. man I hate that!

Yes, it definitely hurts when the kiters take the upper hand. They, however, aren't using surface winds much and this often means they are in a steadier stream. |
