The Weatherflow server is down so I can not post the forecast in the normal manner or use many of our forecast tools. So the forecast below will have to suffice until 7AM

Slightly weaker version of Thursday's up and down winds. The North Pacific High's surface NW winds are on the verge of departing from the coast but they should hang around through Friday afternoon. In addition strong NW winds will just aloft which will transfer some momentum to the surface winds and make for very up and down conditions at many sites. A moderate low pressure in the Great Basin and the Central Valley will pull these winds over most sites even though the ocean buoys winds are only in the mid teens.

Hedge: Saturday the North Pacific High drifts further away from us and the Central Valley & Great Basin thermal low pushes towards the coast causing the NW wind to fade and the pressure gradient becomes too weak for much wind at most sites. There is a CHANCE all of this could happen late Friday so watch for Updates. Mike

Coast: Bodega and Tomales low 20's. Waddell reaching mid 20's. Half Moon Bay mid teens. Average swell at ocean buoys: building NW at 4-7 feet with 8 second period.

Sherman Island: Upper teens to near 20's early AM then upper teens. Faint fade then PM to near 20's.

Peninsula: Strong and gusty. Stick gusty low to mid 20's. Coyote and 3rd reaching gusty mid 20's. Palo Alto reaching upper teens.

Central Bay: Crissy reaching weak low 20's. TI seeing UP and DOWN low 20's.

North & East Bay: Berkeley UP AND DOWN at times upper teens with spikes to weak low 20's. Pt. Isabel reaching unsettled mid teens. Rod & Gun mid teens. Alameda mostly mid teens.
