FYI: there is a lower launch that is closer to the channel. It makes those swims and walks a little easier. |

I've seen harnesses with perfect little VHF radio-sized pouches attached to the back. Are these aftermarket or stock on these harnesses? Can someone point me to one of these harnesses?

Finally made it to Fort Cronkhite. It was better than I thought, especially much easier than Ocean Beach. Wind was side off-shore, nice big 10ft-swell.
Sailed in gusty grunt-y winds for 1h30.
