as for the "flats" you can always launch from the park that's about 2 blocks north of the marina entrance at 14th street.

I have a couple old masts that I still use going on 12 years, and I'm getting nervous about their stability.

I keep them both in bags and out of the sun when not in use.

Apparently a kiter let their lines cross a little girl in the front of a kayak , and then tightened and knocked her ...

i dunno if I'd bother with sandy hook, the wind had too much west in it to do any good this morning.

tip of the hook, or out by the coast guard station has some wind coming in, but ...
