T-showers usually have good wind (but gusty) on the leading edge of the storm, and great wind (constant) after. Stay close to shore until you get the 6th sense for the weather.

Keep your outhaul loose, depending on the sail (check tuning instructions), most of mine I only apply 1 or 2 cm of outhaul, keeps the shape in the sail.
