first question, no x ply is not heavier than monofilm.

rtz, older 9.0 freespeeds perform better with larger masts.
newer can do well with 490 masts with epic gear, powerx bends.

carbone is much faster/funner in mixed conditions. subplanes nearly as well as race boards. planes as good as big freerides, or formulas.
