I would avoid getting a SUP/winger board, as these boards do not pump onto the foil well, especially in lighter winds, when using a windsurf rig. |

Once you are used to foiling, there is little desire to return to regular windsurfing...gorge foilers use 3.7s or there abouts when the wind is blowing hard |

AA used 9.4 sail in the PWA races and is leading foil and slalom as well. In a Miami race this year, AA used 7.8 in winds gusting over 25, I was overpowered on 5.6. Being from Florida, my most used ... |

No combination of windsurf board and sail can match a windfoil for light wind and upwind performance, and foiling is more fun. There is, however, a substantial learning curve for foiling. |
