I agree USA4, I live and windsurf in southern CA but plan to make a trip up to watch these amazing watercraft race in the Bay...

Moved 5 deg in 6 hrs and still at 50 N.

Sigatoka is certainly a good spot. The hot sand dunes create a strong thermal. I didn't suggest it because the OP said he was an intermediate. Big waves and big fish (river mouth).
