Yes if one is a trickster then the small low down haul sails are perfect but if one wants to scream then go big or go home!

6.3 with recommended down haul.

Perfect 20-21 avg. (reading 18-19) yesterday sailing just up wind of HLS. Anything smaller would have been anything but ripping.

On a sail this old you can't do much more than just use your 460 mast + a 30cm extension. On a modern 6.2 sail the downhaul would be more like 446 with a couple inches of rigging leeway for condition ...
