I don't remember that as being a great place to sail from. Seem to remember it being in a wind shadow. I have no info on the camping.

Hopefully they are all at the dam by now. Yesterday I did see a lot of wood debris in the water at Stevenson but not logs.

A load of logs apparently came loose near Bingen at 1:00 pm today (5/26) and started floating down the river uncontrolled. This is obviously a dangerous situation. Has anyone seen them on the river?

Little annoyed at some of the indignation and flippancy. There are people camped at the fairgrounds that are hoping their houses in Cascade Locks don't burn down while others are playing on the river ...

Noice!
Well it's 35 to 45 mph right now but with the water temp at 34 degrees I don't recommend going out there without life insurance.
